¿Qué es la soberanía monetaria?

Es el derecho de los pueblos, las comunidades y los países a definir sus propias políticas monetarias. De esta manera, cada cual puede definir la moneda en función de sus características y necesidades, atendiendo a los criterios ecológicos, económicos y culturales que desee.

¿Qué es Ekhi?

Ekhi es la moneda local de Hernani y permite realizar pagos entre personas adheridas de la red, ya sean comercios o ciudadanía, en un circuito cerrado. El sistema Ekhilur funciona a través de una aplicación de telefonía móvil a través de la cual podrás realizar los pagos.

Objetivos

El objetivo de la moneda Ekhi es crear un circuito cerrado entre las y los participantes de la iniciativa. El reto es incluir en este circuito al Ayuntamiento de Hernani y al mayor número posible de habitantes, empresas y comercios. De esta forma, la riqueza que se genere en el circuito se retendrá en él y esa riqueza se compartirá entre todas las personas participantes.
